Land Bountiful | My studies of the Book of Mormon had led me to understand the general location of the Land Bountiful, but I was not certain of the precise boundaries, assuming there were some. So, I spoke to the Minister of Agriculture of Mexico, and asked him where the most bountiful land in southern Mexico was. He said, "that is simple, the lowland sections of the state of Chiapas. Food grows there more abundantly than any other place in southern Mexico."
Since that is the most bounteous area of southern Mexico, I use the lowland borders of the state of Chiapas, Mexico, to give a general idea of where the boundaries of the land Bountiful may have been. |
